The book drops Doc and Yoyo in a castle, overgrown by a throny vine, where the entire royal court is frozen on the spot. They find out it's like that since Fairy Bianca's spell on the 17th birthday party of the princess, now Sleeping Beauty. Escaping by a cannon ball, They meet Prince Bartold, who seeks her as a traveling bard, utterly in love. they help him find out the real villian is Bianca's rival, black Fairy Gorgona and fight her together and save the princess from the curse.
